For beginners · what is a sector heatmap?
The S&P 500 is split into 11 industry groups called GICS sectors (Tech, Health Care, Energy, etc.).
Each tile below tracks one sector via its SPDR ETF (e.g. XLK = Technology).
Green tiles are up year-to-date; red tiles are down. The deeper the colour, the bigger the move.
Tap any tile to see its top holdings, market-cap mix, and 52-week price range.
Use the Sort buttons to rank by performance, weight in the index, valuation (P/E), or income (dividend yield).

Methodology · How we rank
Each stock passes 7 filters first: Shariah-compliant (S&P Shariah methodology — business & financial screens), ≥30% off 52-week high, positive consensus analyst target, Quality Score ≥50, no earnings announcement in the next 7 days, not in the bottom 20% of its 52-week range (no falling knives), and purification ratio <3%. Survivors are then scored 0-100 on:
If fewer than 5 names pass, we widen the discount filter to ≥25% automatically and flag those picks as Extended Reach.
⚠ Disclaimer · إخلاء مسؤولية Algorithmic output — not investment advice and not a fatwa. This screen applies a quantitative Shariah filter (S&P Shariah methodology: business screen + financial screens: interest-bearing debt <33% of market cap, interest income <5% of revenue, receivables <49%) combined with a value-quality ranking. It does not replace: (1) your personal ijtihad or consultation with a qualified Shariah scholar for nuanced matters like purification amount or doubtful income sources; (2) professional financial advice tailored to your risk profile, tax situation, and investment horizon. Past discounts do not guarantee future recovery. Analyst targets can be wrong. Do your own research (tahqeeq) before every trade.

What is a Halal deep-value screen?
Each tile groups Shariah-compliant stocks in one GICS sector — companies that pass both the business screen
(no alcohol, tobacco, conventional banking, insurance, gambling, adult media, or weapons) and the financial screens
(interest-bearing debt < 33% of market cap, interest income < 5% of revenue, receivables < 49%).
From that universe we filter to names trading more than 30% below their 52-week high with a positive
consensus analyst price target. The deeper the green on a tile, the larger the average discount inside it.
Tap any tile to see the specific tickers, discount, fair-value target, and expected upside.
This is a screen, not advice — always do your own tahqeeq before investing.
